I got this bad boy at work the other day, and according to ebay’ s sold listings , in great condition it could be worth around $ 1000usd. Obviously, mine is not in great condition, butttt... it’s still apparently a super rare note. I’m not expecting much from it, but do you have any idea what it might be worth in this condition? $50? More? Nothing?

50,0000 Lira will get you maybe a third of a small gelato. But you’ll need a few more if you want to sit on the patio and eat it.

People here were saying this one was worth maybe €100, but they were arguing about its tears, so I would imagine yours is worth less. Although, it seems like it would also depend on when it was issued.

I couldn’t see the year it was printed? How old would you guess this thing is?
I like old money... Not enough to pay for it though... I can’t bring myself to giving away usable money for useless money... but I am also not a collector.
EDIT. From what I learned from watching Pawn Stars, Patina is worth a lot. Yours has a lot of it.
Unfortunately, I cannot offer you anything for it. $1 in store credit is the most I can do.
We don’t get a lot of customers coming in looking for this types of things. It will sit on the shelf for years. Take up space.
Owner of piece - alright. That seems fair. I’ll take $1 in store credit.
Rick puts up piece immediately with a price tag of $ 1000

The weird thing is I cant find a year on it, but I know it’s from around 1970. Honestly, I don’t know what makes these valuable since they’re not * that* old, but auction results don’t lie. Usually...

Trade? I’ve got one of these in mint condition.
Seriously though on your note is there something historical that makes it valuable or something special about the note?

Looks like it’s worth about $1.70.

I have no clue. I just know that they apparently sell in the hundreds.
